FAQ

RETURN TO RIVERSIDE IS AN ALL AGES EVENT 
Parking at the High School. Lock 'er up and walk the 10 minutes to the park.

Potlatch, Idaho is a small town. You can walk from one side to the other in a manner of minutes. Park where you can. Handicap parking near the venue entrance ( in the Elementary lots) is marked and reserved. We di have a couple golf carts patroling for those who need assistance due to mobility issues.  Please check in with our front gate to inquire about help. Please be respectful of private drives and operating businesses! These are our people! We want to keep them happy and do not want them dealing with unwanted cars and blockages.

GETTING TO POTLATCH, IDAHO

From the West, Highway 95 meets Highway 6 at the Potlatch Junction. Town is another mile from there. Drive through town and follow the signs that will lead you to the Festival grounds on the right, at the top of the hill as you pass through. From the East, the Festival grounds are to the left, right before you descend the hill on the main street.,

 

WHEN TO ARRIVE

All seating (BRING A LAWN CHAIR or blanket) is "first come, first serve". So it you are looking for the best seat in the house, get to the venue early! Gates will open TBD. We DO NOT allow early birds to set up tents to save spots before the gates open unless you have contacted us well in advance regarding a group admission or special circumstances.  

 

 

WHEN TO LEAVE

We remind all pedestrians and drivers to be considerate of those who have yet to reach their destinations and may be sharing the street space with you. Please leave the event cautiously. Flashlights or phone lighting apps are encouraged! 

 

Be sure to bring your designated driver if you plan to drink.

ENTRANCE LOCATION

Ponderosa Drive runs behind the elementary school in town. Once you see the Park, you will note the Main Entrance Gate. Watch for signage. 

 

EMT/EMERGENCY SERVICES

We love our EMTs! The Potlatch Volunteer Ambulance crew will be located near the entrance of our festival. They will be available throughout the entire festival.

ENTRY, WRISTBANDS & SECURITY

There is only one Entrance Gate where wristbands will be put on each person entering. If you have pre-purchased a wristband, go ahead and put it on before you get to the gate. Or bring it with you and we will assist you with putting it on. 

COOLERS WILL BE SEARCHED.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL or FOOD.

POP AND WATER OKAY

Please ask your kids to not bring balls or frisbees. The venue is just too small for airborne objects.

BEER & WINE

Only those age 21+ with legal photo ID's will be given a wristband for alcohol consumption. You can get a wristband at any vendor serving alcohol.  

PLEASE BRING YOUR ID.

 

WEATHER

Check the forecast and dress accordingly. We do have shade under the tall pines on the south slope and there will be limited space available in a provided tents. But this is North Idaho: It can be hot during the day and freezing at night.

THESE ITEMS ARE ALLOWED                      

Please bring your favorite chair, blanket or portable canopy.( we ask you set up your canopy in the back, not in the front audience section. We only provide limited bleacher seating, but the grass and hillsides are yours for the taking! Service Animals admittance must be requested two weeks in advance. Due to past experiences, we ask you not bring animals to the event. Loud Music and crowds is not a place for pets. 

THESE ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED                            

No firearms or weapons. No pets. No outside alcohol. No smoking. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET AND LEAVE THEM IN YOUR VEHICLE ALL DAY!   No one but ID-carrying staff and musicians are allowed back stage.    ​
